For publishing with The Pittsburgh Brief
Submit to the Pittsburgh Brief
The Pittsburgh Brief is looking for short, sharp legal writing from students who have something to say. Whether it’s a take on a recent court decision, a breakdown of emerging legislation, or a legal angle on something in the news, we want to hear from you. Pieces should be no longer than 1,000 words, grounded in legal argument or legal news, and written to be read by an audience beyond the classroom. No dense footnotes, no unnecessary jargon — just clear, serious legal thinking.
To be considered for publication, fill out the form below and attach your submission. We review pieces on a rolling basis and will be in touch if your work is a fit.
